Social Media Expert Julia Gorzka
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The University of South Florida St. Petersburg will host a free entrepreneurial networking breakfast on October 20. Speaker Julia Gorzka will discuss how to best leverage social media for a growing business.
A creative brand and marketing strategist, Julia Gorzka is passionate about helping businesses build stronger brands, customer loyalty and revenues. Her specialties include new media integration, digital and web strategies.
Julia’s creative approach to solving business problems is heavily influenced by her background in the arts. She has a BS in Art History from Tulane, a diploma in Fine and Decorative Art History from Christie’s and the Royal Society of Arts in London, and a MA in The History of Design from Bard.
She is a leader in training organizations and professionals to successfully use social media to achieve business goals. Julia leads “Social Media Success Groups” – a coaching program that teaches her system for planning and implementing strategies that produce results.
Bill Jackson, associate dean of the College of Business at USF St. Petersburg and director of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation Alliance at USF St. Petersburg, helps organize the breakfast.
“These events offer current and aspiring business owners opportunities for professional development in a comfortable university setting,” Jackson said. “Almost 100 entrepreneurs participated last month. We look forward to even more participation on October 20.”
