St. Petersburg – Technology business leader and entrepreneur John Morrow and creative problem solving guru Nathan Schwagler have joined the Sustainable Entrepreneurship & Innovation Alliance at USF St. Petersburg to share their expertise with students and local businesses. Morrow will serve as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Schwagler will serve as the nation’s first business program Creative-in-Residence.

John Morrow, USFSP Entrepreneur-in-Residence
As Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Morrow joins the Alliance’s advisory board, and mentors students, faculty and community entrepreneurs with their ventures. As Creative-In-Residence, Schwagler aids in centering the entrepreneurship curriculum on the principles of creative thinking. In addition, he will teach a foundation course in creativity.
Over the past three decades, Morrow has started and grown a number of technology companies. Prior to establishing Morrow Consultants in 2006, he served as CEO of Morrow Technologies Corporation, which he co-founded in 1984. Morrow Technologies’ microwave division, which was sold in 2006, was known as an innovator of RF and microwave signal analysis equipment – offering products that were unique in terms of speed, network-enabled operation, and compact size.
Another of Morrow Technologies’ divisions, Janus Digital Displays, is a premier supplier of networked digital signage systems. For more than twenty years, and with thousands of customers worldwide, Janus has continued to be the market leader for networked digital signage in hotels, convention centers, casinos, military bases, corporate headquarters and various government facilities.
Prior to founding Morrow Technologies Corporation, Morrow served as president of MCED, Inc., a firm specializing in automation systems. The company was a prime contractor to Disney on the original EPCOT Center construction project at Walt Disney World in Orlando in the early 1980s.
