SBDC Receives Commendation From City Council
In addition to the City of Tampa’s Entrepreneurship Month proclamation highlighting the Small Business Development Center at the University of South Florida (SBDC at USF), Tampa City Council also recognizes the SBDC at USF’s role in building and strengthening a sustainable local business economy.
“Therefore it commends the center’s commitment to creating a nurturing environment that encourages and supports entrepreneurs. Through its collaboration with public, private, and non-profit partnerships, it provides no-cost consulting and low-cost training. It delivers tools, strategies, and expertise to entrepreneurs to accelerate growth and success in a competitive market – including assistance with international trade, governmental contracting, women and minority certifications, and Internet strategies,” stated commendation signed by Councilman Mike Suarez.
