            SARASOTA, Fla., Dec. 2011– Finding emergency care quickly for sick or injured pets is now just a tap away with new smartphone apps and a new mobile website for Critical Care & Veterinary Specialists of Sarasota, a 24-hour veterinary emergency, surgery and intensive care facility.

The apps are available for iPhones, iPads, BlackBerrys and Android-based mobile devices and tablets, according to Dr. Anne Chauvet, founder of Critical Care & Veterinary Specialists of Sarasota (CCVSS.)  The apps and mobile website were developed by Edelsbacher Design Group of Sarasota.

Apps are available by searching for Critical Care & Veterinary Specialists of Sarasota on iTunes, Android Market and BlackBerry AppWorld.  Smartphone users also can access the website for contact information, directions and other information by typing www.CriticalVetCare.com in their phone’s browser or by scanning a TAG.  Emergencies happen at any time, and the apps and website ensure worried pet owners have information at their fingertips about how to get medical care quickly for their pets, including surgery, 24 hours a day, which can make all the difference for a good outcome, Chauvet said.
